Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2nd annual Juneteenth Freedom Walk. We had about 95 participants who walked in the heat for 1.25 miles to recognize the Journey to Juneteenth. Special thanks to the Juneteenth Committee: Candace Silas, Katrina Quattlander, Michelle Pulce-Flynn, Kellee Phillips, Brandon Lewis, Amanda Turner, Mion Denton, Kristin Booher, Mackenzie Bryant, Leanne Rosenberry, Calvin Walter and Lisa Clanton. Special thanks to Debra Bell, facilities, Chief Chris Russell and the LLCC Police Department for helping make the event a success.
