Dance club coffee and cocoa sale tomorrow
The LLCC Dance Club: Express Your Seoul will be holding a coffee and cocoa sale Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons. The sale features a variety of creamers along with hot chocolate and all the toppings you can think of! Glazed, powdered and chocolate donuts will also be available for purchase.
Blood drive Jan. 24
LLCC Student Life is hosting a blood drive on Thursday, Jan. 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the student union, located in the lower level of Menard Hall. Due to the winter weather cancellations, blood types 0 and AB are in high demand! All donors are asked to please eat before donation and present a photo ID. Walk-ins are always welcome. To schedule an appointment, please call the Community Blood Center at 217-241-7550 or schedule online. All donors will receive a free T-shirt!

Academic Innovation & eLearning spring workshops
LLCC Academic Innovation & eLearning is offering a variety of workshops this semester on innovative teaching, internet accessibility and quality matters. Multiple open labs will also be offered. At these open labs, you can stop by to ask questions and receive one-on-one support with Blackboard, SoftChalk, Ally and AFEIS.

LLCC welcomes two new police officers
Two new officers have joined LLCC’s police force.
Steven Lane is a law enforcement graduate of LLCC and previously worked as a security officer at the college for 1.5 years. He returns to LLCC after working at the Logan Correctional Center in Taylorville.
Alex James comes to us after working for the Illinois Department of Corrections for four years. He previously also worked in construction.
