The Calendar Year 2024 W-2 forms are now available.
If you elected to receive your W-2 electronically, you can log into your Logger Central (Employee Self-Service) account and choose Tax Information. This will allow you to view and print your form.
If you elected to receive your W-2 via paper form, these will be mailed out Jan. 28, 2025.
Please contact Payroll at 217-786-2430 with any issues receiving your form.
LLCC Workforce will host an information session today from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Workforce Careers Center.
Interested students can learn more about workforce programs like commercial electrical and industrial maintenance, construction occupations, diesel technologies, hospitality management, culinary arts and welding.
Homecoming is in February and that means announcing Homecoming Royals too! Your help in nominating outstanding student leaders is much appreciated. Faculty, staff, and students can nominate current LLCC students via an online form. Nominations are due by noon on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Voting will take place Feb. 17-19 with the announcement made during the Homecoming games on Wednesday, Feb. 19.
To be considered as a Homecoming Royal, a person must:
Be nominated by a student, faculty, or staff member.
Be a current student at LLCC enrolled in at least six credit hours for the spring 2024 semester.
Have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
Be in good standing with LLCC.
Be available to attend the homecoming games on Wednesday, Feb. 19 starting at 5:30 p.m.
By using the phrase “Homecoming Royal,” LLCC Student Life wishes to be gender neutral.

Upgrade your presentations with multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, interactive summaries, multimedia, and other types of interactions using only a web browser. Join H5P Core Team to learn how to create engaging presentations with H5P, which can be used in face-to-face courses or added to online courses in Canvas. This hands-on workshop will provide you an opportunity to experience interactive course presentations yourself, and learn how to use the drag and drop based authoring tool to create them on your own.
Access to the programs in the Monday Morning Mentor series is restricted to members of the subscribing institution. Any unauthorized use or access, including sharing access with faculty and staff not affiliated with the subscribing institution, is prohibited.
The café is open as Bistro To Go, a counter service concept, from Jan. 28 – Feb. 27, offering soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goods, coffees and drinks. The menu as well as online ordering are available online. Bistro Verde is located inside the east entrance of the Workforce Careers Center on the LLCC campus in Springfield.
The LLCC Foundation is accepting applications for LEAGUE Grants. A total of $10,000 is available for projects and programs at LLCC. Grant applications must be submitted by Jan. 31, 2025, at 5 p.m. Please contact Michelle Pulce-Flynn, director of grant development and administration, for an application, 217-786-2446.
LEAGUE is the annual faculty and staff giving campaign. Donations to the League Campaign make these grants possible. The grant awards will be announced at the LEAGUE Kickoff event on Tuesday, March 25. There is not a dollar limit on proposals, however the highest average amount awarded per grant is generally $1,500 to $2,000. The Foundation has funded projects such as:
GPS enabled sport watches to enhance physiology labs in Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II
Ultrasound phantom to aid in the teaching of ultrasound scanning
Captioning support software for hearing impaired students.
Join the Data Governance Council (DGC) for the first Data Byte conversation of 2025. This month’s discussion will summarize key findings from LLCC’s newest Environmental Scan, which examines trends that are likely to impact District 526 in the near future. The conversation is scheduled at a new time and day: 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29, in the Robert H. Stephens Room. Snacks will be provided!
LLCC Student Accounts would like you to be aware that the 2024 1098-T is available for viewing and printing on students’ Logger Central accounts. Printed 1098-T forms were mailed out Friday, Jan. 24. If students should call you about their 1098-T, please transfer them to 217-786-9645.
