FAC and SAVE Taskforce hosting Denim Day April 25

In correlation with National Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the LLCC Feminist Activist Coalition and SAVE Taskforce will be hosting Denim Day Wednesday, April 25. For this awareness campaign and fundraiser, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate by wearing denim on April 25 and turning in a minimum $5 donation to LLCC Student Life. All proceeds will benefit the Prairie Center Against Sexual Assault.

The fundraiser also connects with Denim Day 2018, an annual campaign that focuses on protesting destructive attitudes and misconceptions about sexual assault. Learn more about the background of this campaign.

Complete the LEAGUE contribution form (include link to form) and return to the LLCC Foundation to be entered into the drawing.

Thank you to those who have donated more than $42,000 so far. Your gift makes an impact on the lives of our students. Donations are needed for the general scholarship fund, LEAGUE Grants and the greatest needs of the college.

Tickets available for Farmer’s Share Lunch on April 27

The LLCC Agriculture Club is hosting its Seventh Annual Farmer’s Share Lunch on Friday, April 27, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Trutter Center. The club is selling tickets for the meal that will include a boneless pork chop sandwich, roasted corn, potato salad, fruit, cookies, and tea or lemonade for $1.
