Last day of spring service at Bistro Verde
This is the last day Bistro Verde, LLCC’s student run café, will be open for the spring semester. It is open today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a full-service dining experience. View the menu. Earth Week bake sale today
Happy Earth Week! The LLCC Environmental Club is celebrating with a bake sale today from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or until baked goods are sold out). They will offer a variety of cookies, brownies and puppy chow. Drop by the large lounge in A. Lincoln Commons to pick up your treats. They will also have order forms available for their annual heirloom tomato plant sale. Thank you for your support!
LLCC Dance Club hosting talent show 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Express your Seoul: LLCC Dance Club invites the public to attend the first Express Your Talent Show today, April 25, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the student union, located in the lower level of Menard Hall. The event is free to attend, and the Dance Club will be performing new routines at the opening of the talent show and during intermission. T-shirts will be available for purchase for $3. They are first come, first served since there is a limited quantity.
There is no cost for students to enter the talent show. For non-students, there is an entry fee of $5 (which includes a T-shirt). Those interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to Natalie at 217-691-4988 to reserve a spot. There will be four categories: vocal, dance, poetry/reading and instrumental.
Chemistry Club trivia night tomorrow
There is still time to sign up for a trivia night hosted by the LLCC Chemistry Club! It will take place tomorrow, April 26, in the student union located in the lower level of Menard Hall. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the event starts at 6 p.m. To register your seat, email Victoria Hollinshead at vholl2249@llcc.edu.
It is $10 per person, and payment will be collected the night of the event. Cash or check will be accepted. Checks should be made out to LLCC.
Notice regarding end-of-month deposits
The deadline to submit your deposits to LLCC Finance is Monday, April 29 before noon. Please hand the deposit to Nichole Coffey or Sarah Goodman as monies should not be left unattended.
As a reminder, if you have taken in funds, it is necessary to submit them and corresponding deposit slips to the finance department on a daily basis.

EndGame Expo April 25, 10 a.m. to noon
EndGame Expo (formerly called Video Game Design Tournament) will be held in A. Lincoln Commons tomorrow, April 25, from 10 a.m. to noon. The expo will host teams and the video games they have created in Video Game Design I and Video Game Design II classes. Student teams will showcase the art, animation, sound and coding skills that they have acquired from various courses.
Members from one of last year’s teams will also be on hand to open the event. This team has recently published two of their games, which are available for download in the App Store.
