As a reminder, if a college department (with the exception of Athletics, Student Life and Bookstore) has funds and wishes to purchase promotional items that would contain the college logo or name, here are the steps to take. These guidelines are intended to insure consistency, quality and value of promotional items.
Complete a PRM KBOX work order, indicating the items you wish to purchase and the quantity. You may suggest a vendor, but it is not necessary.
PRM will find a vendor for the items and provide you with price information.
If you approve of the price, PRM will contact the vendor and provide the appropriate artwork and deadlines.
You (or your department assistant) will need to create a requisition on Colleague for the item(s). Once the requisition is approved, the purchasing office will then send the vendor a PO to place the order.

LLCC got a “thumbs up” in the State Journal-Register’s editorial column April 27 for the new “multiple measures” method of placement into college-level English and math being instituted for students who start classes this fall.
As part of LLCC’s Education 220: Diversity of Schools and Societyclass, taught by Dr. Taiebeh Hosseinali, students were assigned to design and implement a community engagement project in which they could help make a difference in our community. One of the teams chose to collect and disseminate hygiene supplies and serve a meal to those who visit St. John’s Breadline. To achieve their goals, students reached out to friends, family and members of their church and community, and then gathered and organized their collection. On Sunday, April 28, the team delivered and disseminated boxes of hygiene products at the Breadline. They also spent their morning and part of their afternoon to help out prepping and serving a warm meal to participants.
Please join us Friday, May 10 from 2-4 p.m. in the Robert H. Stephens Room to celebrate Beth Hoffmann, professor of communication, as she retires from LLCC after 25 years of service!
