It’s time for Early Alert

Calling all faculty:

It’s time to sign up to participate in the Early Alert program for the fall semester! Early Alert is a campus-wide initiative designed to identify students who may be experiencing challenges that impact their academic performance.

The Early Alert program consists of five outreach campaigns: three campaigns for 16-week classes and one campaign for eight-week classes. During the campaign, faculty can indicate concerns or kudos for each student. The goals are to work with students who may need additional support and celebrate those who are doing well. Students and success coaches will be notified via email. Success coaches will follow up with each student, note the outcomes of their outreach, and eventually close the alert. Faculty will be able to view the outcomes. This process reinforces faculty messaging and enhances communications among faculty, students, and success coaches.

If you are interested in participating in this initiative, please submit the Early Alert Participation Form by Friday, Aug. 30, 2024. Please contact Amanda Turner, director of student success, with questions.

Changes to the LLCC Wireless Network this Fall

  • The LLCC-Student network has been retired.
  • Students can connect to the LLCC-GUEST network to access the internet and essential resources such as LoggerCentral and Canvas.
  • Faculty and staff can also utilize the LLCC-GUEST network for internet access, or the LLCC-EMPLOYEE network to access internal systems that require authentication such as Colleague, EMS or Zogotech.

These changes aim to improve your overall network experience.

If you encounter any difficulties, please contact the helpdesk at helpdesk@llcc.edu or 217-786-2555.
