Holiday Party Thanks

Thank you to everyone who made our LLCC Holiday Party last week a memorable time of connection and celebration. Special thanks to Jolene Lamb for organizing and leading the planning and for selecting a wonderful menu, and to Julie Clevenger and Debbie Bell who assisted. Their vision and attention to detail made the event a success. Our talented musicians, Cody Cox and Gianna Hines, set the festive mood, and mixologist Sheridan Lane crafted delicious beverages.

Thank you from Dr. Natasha Casey

Dear colleagues,

I want to express my gratitude to many members of the LLCC community for generously sharing your time and expertise by participating in interviews with students in my public speaking classes. Your contributions, in many cases with more than one student, have been invaluable for their “news you can use” informative speeches.

This assignment helps students educate one another about the many services, resources, clubs and opportunities available here at LLCC. If you have any suggestions or ideas for topics for next semester, please feel free to email me. I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I know this is an especially busy time of year, and I appreciate your patience and willingness to share your knowledge with our students. Thank you.

Warm regards,
Dr. Natasha Casey
Assistant Professor, Communication

A note of thanks from Bistro Verde

Hello Bistro friends,

Thank you so much for joining us this semester for Bistro to Go and Bistro Verde. The students worked so hard this semester keeping up with record sales and a very small team! Your lunch experience gives these students valuable real world experience, which increases their confidence to step into new beginnings with the confidence of a true professional. Because you are actively participating in student learning, we always appreciate your feedback when we have items that should be fixed up and also when what we are producing is really great! We look forward to again providing great Bistro experiences next semester.

Much love,
The Bistro team
