Make an appointment to donate blood at LLCC Wednesday

Donating blood is a great way to give back to our community! By donating with ImpactLife, you are helping to save local lives. All types are needed and O+, O- and B- are currently in critically low supply.Impact Life logo

Donating will be convenient during the blood drive on Wednesday, July 17, in A. Lincoln Commons. Please go online to schedule an appointment between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

All donors will receive a voucher for an electronic gift card, reward points to be redeemed in the ImpactLife Loyalty Store for a long-sleeved sun shirt or a donation to Make-a-Wish Illinois. If you have questions about the process, visit www.bloodcenter.org or email Kristin Booher.

Important Health Insurance Update

Effective immediately, employees covered under a LLCC health insurance plan will begin receiving their explanation of benefits (EOB) via email rather than mailed to their homes. The EOB is a document that is sent to you each time you use your health insurance to explain how your benefits were applied to the claim. Currently, your EOB will be emailed to your LLCC email address. However, if you wish to change this to a personal email address, you may do so by contacting SISCO at 1-800-457-4726.

Our campus is buzzing with activity!

Summer on the LLCC campus is full of fun activities. Be sure to check out the LLCC Facebook page to see what’s happening. Last week Girls on the Run raced down the sidewalks, LLCC Ag hosted the Boys & Girls Club of Central Illinois for Career Launch and students from Lake Shore Learning Center spent the morning buzzing about activities at our West Lake Nature Grove apiary.
