Fire alarm testing to begin Aug. 1
LLCC Facilities Services will be performing annual testing of fire alarm systems in the majority of main campus and Outreach Center buildings beginning Monday, Aug. 1. During testing it will be necessary to periodically activate the system horns and strobes, but we will strive to keep disruptions to a minimum.

Workforce and Health Care 101
Nearly 30 prospective students attended the Workforce and Health Care 101 event on Tuesday evening, learning about and trying out various career training programs. Hands-on workforce sessions were offered in automotive technology, HVAC, construction and commercial electrical maintenance. Health care sessions are nursing (RN, LPN, CNA), surgical technology, neurodiagnostic technology and occupational therapy assistant.

COVID testing site closures
As a reminder, the last day of COVID-19 saliva-based testing on the main campus in Springfield will be Thursday, July 28. For additional details please refer to the July 13 email on COVID-19 testing.
