Access the spring 2024 CCSSE report on Sharepoint
Reports from the Spring 2024 Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) are available on the IRE SharePoint site. The CCSSE is a product and service of the Center for Community College Student Engagement at the University of Texas at Austin. Student engagement, or the amount of time and energy students invest in meaningful educational practices, is the underlying foundation for the Center’s work. The CCSSE survey instrument is designed to capture student engagement as a measure of institutional quality. IRE staff can provide analysis of our student responses to specific survey items or lead a general discussion of the findings. Just contact us at AskIRE@llcc.edu to initiate a conversation on how we can help.

November is Homeless Youth Awareness Month
Hello from Student Success,
We hope you are doing well. November is homeless awareness month and homeless youth awareness month. As temperatures begin to dip and the weather becomes increasingly colder, we often take for granted having a safe, warm home and a place to sleep. Not everyone, including our students, has the same experience of being housed. In November, local and national agencies highlight the increasing need for affordable housing, more housing units, and the need to serve our unhoused peers. Locally, Heartland Housed, is in charge of coordinated entry, a process that strives to streamline entry into the housing system. LLCC students experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity are able to meet with the HOUSE Liaison for referral and resource information.
For housing support: Click on the “Referral for service request” green button.
If you have questions about types of housing support on campus, please reach out to Claire Heffron-McKinney.
