Thank you for helping with Welcome Week!

LLCC Public Relations and Marketing thanks everyone who joined us in greeting and assisting students across campus last week. You helped students get a great start to the spring semester! It would not have been possible without all of you who took time out of your busy days to help students find classes, print off schedules and much more.

Those who helped PRM greet during Welcome Week included: Sarah Bailey, Kristin Booher, Mackenzie Bryant, Shanda Byer, Josh Collins, Cody Cox, Lyndsey Craigmiles Brooks, Brandon Davis, Alex Dean, Tiffany Elliott, Jeannette Garceau, Kerry Harden, Claire Heffron-McKinney, Leslie Johnson, Christina Negley, Crystal Norris, Stacey Olson, LLCC Police Department, Katrina Quattlander, Leanne Roseberry, Karen Sanders, Amy Strawn, Lindsey Weihmeir and Kim Wilson.

Student Technology Center opens to help students

Students have another resource for technology help on campus. The Student Technology Center, located in the lower level of Sangamon Hall, near the Canvas Support desk, offers help with course technology and digital media questions related to LLCC coursework.

Students can make an appointment online with the Student Technology Center, by calling 217-786-2345 or by simply stopping by.

The IT Help Desk will still be the go-to place for questions about the network, user accounts and software downloads. Students may reach the IT Help Desk via email or by calling 217-786-2555.

Sertoma Club of Springfield Donates Portable InfoLoop Device to Accessibility Services

The Sertoma Club of Springfield recently donated a Portable InfoLoop device to LLCC Accessibility Services. The device amplifies conversations while reducing background noise. Accessibility Services will use the device to better serve our students with hearing impairments.

The Sertoma Club of Springfield serves individuals in our community impacted by hearing loss. They have provided assistive listening devices previously to the LLCC Library and various other community venues. We appreciate their support!
