Fall 2024 Math Center & Peer Tutor Hours

The Dennis P. Beveridge Math Center is open the following hours to assist students in their LLCC math or math-intensive courses:

  • Mondays 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Tuesdays 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Thursdays 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Fridays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Faculty, staff, and students can also access the Math Center schedule online.

Peer Tutoring

Peer tutors are a valuable resource in student success. Our peer tutors work with students who want extra support for a wide variety of LLCC courses. Students work with peer tutors to review course content, get help with homework, prepare for quizzes and tests or just to have an accountability partner. Whatever a student’s goals, working with a peer tutor is a great way to practice academic habits that lead to success.

Faculty, staff and students can access peer tutor availability via the Student Guide to Peer Tutors.

Math Center & Peer Tutoring: Summer 2024

Encourage students to level up their learning with free academic support services!

Academic support is available for all LLCC students. To find out more information about available services, students can email LLCC Center for Academic Success or call 217-786-2396.

Math Center

The Dennis P. Beveridge Math Center is open to serve students this summer Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Access more information about LLCC Math Center services, including the full schedule. “You Know?” student communication: Week of Feb. 12

You know? LLCCPlease join us in letting students know the LLCC Center for Academic Success offers tools to help them succeed in the classroom and to keep an eye out for “You Know” messages, which will help keep them in the loop on important dates, events and services available to them as LLCC students.

The Center for Academic Success offers help both virtually and in-person, to meet a student’s needs. Students can receive help with math, writing, note taking, time management and more. Peer tutoring and supplemental instruction offer additional study opportunities.

Math Center hours

The LLCC Math Center opens for spring semester today and will be open this spring during the following hours:

Mondays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fridays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Math Center is a walk-in service. Students do not need to make appointments in advance. Please see the Math Center Spring 2023 Schedule for a complete list of hours and staff.
