Contractors will begin flooring removal and replacement work in the Menard Hall second floor corridor on July 7. During demolition/installation you will still be able to access your office, classroom, etc. as needed. We have asked the contractor to use caution tape around areas that are inaccessible for short periods of time. We anticipate this work to last throughout July and into early August. Reminder: End of fiscal year
The finance department would like to remind everyone to submit approved documentation for all accounts payable vouchers that need to be paid in FY21 as soon as possible. The final day to submit invoices/vouchers for FY21 payments is July 15.

Federal work-study (FWS) funds are available starting July 1 for the 2021-22 school year. After you have a student apply for a job, please contact Lara.Marshall@llcc.edu to see if students are eligible for FWS. If eligible and funds are available, you will then be instructed to complete a hiring proposal.

Springfield Sliders game tomorrow
We’re looking forward to joining LLCC faculty and staff at the upcoming Springfield Sliders game tomorrow, July 1! The latest weather forecast is in our favor for a beautiful night at the ballpark.
A few logistics: Game time is 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 5:35. While outside food/drink is permitted in the parking lot, it cannot be brought into the stadium. Concessions are available for purchase inside the stadium. The tickets are “general admission,” so there is no assigned seating. However, we will try to sit together as much as possible. Wear an LLCC shirt, and look for a section with your fellow LLCC colleagues!

Proceeds benefit the LLCC Foundation’s Grow Beyond Endowment Fund, which assists students through scholarships and emergency, short-term help; supports new initiatives; and creates flexible, state-of-the-art learning environments.
