Flooring work to begin July 7

Contractors will begin flooring removal and replacement work in the Menard Hall second floor corridor on July 7. During demolition/installation you will still be able to access your office, classroom, etc. as needed. We have asked the contractor to use caution tape around areas that are inaccessible for short periods of time. We anticipate this work to last throughout July and into early August. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Tim Ervin at 786-9605 or at tim.ervin@llcc.edu.

Springfield Sliders game tomorrow

Sliders Springfield baseball team logoWe’re looking forward to joining LLCC faculty and staff at the upcoming Springfield Sliders game tomorrow, July 1! The latest weather forecast is in our favor for a beautiful night at the ballpark.

A few logistics: Game time is 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 5:35. While outside food/drink is permitted in the parking lot, it cannot be brought into the stadium. Concessions are available for purchase inside the stadium. The tickets are “general admission,” so there is no assigned seating. However, we will try to sit together as much as possible. Wear an LLCC shirt, and look for a section with your fellow LLCC colleagues!
