Generative AI detection added to Turnitin
We have added generative AI detection functionality to the LLCC Turnitin system. To support your use of the new tool and interpreting the newly designed similarity reports we have created a training and resource page for faculty on the proper use of Turnitin. If you plan to use Turnitin with your students, please review the page and feel free to reach if you have any questions.
New Tools in Canvas: UDOIT and TidyUp
Faculty may have already noticed two new tools in their Canvas courses: UDOIT and TidyUp.
- UDOIT (Universal Design Online Content Inspection Tool) is our new web accessibility checker which has been designed specifically for Canvas. AIeL will be providing workshops and other support resources on UDOIT throughout the academic year but for those who would like to learn more now you can visit the UDOIT Training Series or review the UDOIT User Guide.
- TidyUP is another new tool in Canvas and is used to support Canvas space/storage needs by identifying unpublished pages, deleting outdated content and removing empty folders in Canvas course. Faculty can scan their Canvas courses for unpublished pages and unlinked files and easily delete unused and unwanted files, freeing up course size for new development. TidyUP is a quick and easy way to cleanup and streamline your Canvas courses. For more information you may visit the TidyUP Training Series.
