LLCC Day of Giving, Nov. 15

Giving Day 2024LLCC Giving Day is quickly approaching. On Nov. 15, alumni, parents, students and friends come together to support future generations of students with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.

Every gift — no matter the size — makes a difference in the lives of our students. With the support of alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, board members and friends, you help transform lives and strengthen our communities through learning.
This year’s Giving Day promises to be bigger and more impactful than ever. It’s about building a community of passionate supporters who believe in the transformative power of higher education. Together, we can ensure that future students have the resources they need to thrive.

On Friday, Nov. 15, make a gift at LLCC Giving Day. Gifts provide the opportunity to innovate and provide maximum flexibility to meet our current priorities. Join fellow Loggers and invest in a student’s bright future.

Public Service Careers Expo today

The LLCC Career Center is hosting a Public Service Careers Expo today from 9 a.m. to noon in A. Lincoln Commons. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to explore careers in the public sector, with representatives from 20 state agencies and several local and federal agencies in attendance. This is a casual, exploratory event where students can learn about job opportunities in public service, meet professionals from various government agencies and ask questions about potential career paths. While students are not expected to dress formally or bring a resume, they are welcome to do so if they wish.

We believe this event will be valuable for students, whether they are just starting to think about their career paths or are more certain of their future plans in public service. Please consider sharing this information with your students and encouraging them to attend.
