Professional Development Day Nov. 3 is going mobile!
Professional Development Day will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Mark your calendars now and make plans to attend. Information about the day can be found online at www.llcc.edu/ProDevDay.
Professional Development Day is a great opportunity to share ideas, learn something new or expand upon skills and talents you already have. It also provides excellent opportunities to interact with colleagues from other departments across campus. There are a large number of activities and breakout sessions planned throughout the day, with something for everyone!
You will find a wide variety of sessions this Professional Development Day. Please note that everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend any session on the schedule. While a session may appear to be directed toward a particular employee group it does not mean that others wouldn’t benefit from the presentation and discussion. If you see something that peaks your interest, attend that session! Simply learning more about how different areas of the college function can help each of us serve our students more effectively.
In addition to the activities and breakout sessions being offered, we are adding something new this year. Professional Development Day is also going mobile with a supplemental app and hashtag, #prodevday, to encourage a greater connection and sharing of ideas before and during Professional Development Day. Visit the ProDevDay App link on the web page linked above to learn more and to download the app.
If you are on Twitter, please feel free to tweet throughout the day and tag your tweets with #prodevday. Those tweets will appear in the twitter window on the ProDevDay web page and on the twitter feed in the ProDevDay app.
Save the date and plan on attending Professional Development Day on Nov. 3! We look forward to seeing everyone.
