The 2023 LLCC Lincoln Lecture scheduled for Feb. 3, 9 a.m. in the Trutter Center was the subject of an extended interview on Sports Radio 1450 Jan. 27. Speaker Bob Bunn told stories related to his presentation “The Bunns and the Lincolns: A Family Friendship Front 1840-1884.” Bob Bunn is a fifth-generation member of the Bunn family which dates back to 1840 in Springfield. He has researched the Bunn family history including many stories of the Lincoln and Bunn families.

Sheridan Lane, director, culinary program and operations, was interviewed by WICS/FOX news Jan. 25 regarding Bistro To Go, the student-led, take-out restaurant now operating in the Workforce Careers Center through Feb. 23, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesdays-Thursdays. Bistro Verde dine-in service begins March 21.
