Dr. Amanda TurnerDr. Amanda Turner joined LLCC Feb. 1 as director, student success. She previously worked at Pensacola State College and has several years of experience in enrollment management and student services. She is looking forward to the opportunity to focus on coaching and student support to help students achieve success. Amanda is a first-generation college student who has completed undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University, an M.S.W. and Ph.D. at Florida State University and a master’s degree in psychology from Capella University. Welcome Russell Michelich

Russell MichelichRussell Michelich, LLCC alum, began work at the college as webstore technician in the LLCC Bookstore on Jan. 2. He also teaches part time at the Springfield Art Association. Russell studied art at LLCC and Northern Illinois University and has been working in digital art and oil. He also has experience in inventory management and sales. Skylar KriegelSkylar Kriegel recently joined LLCC as library access services assistant. She previously worked at a public library in northern Illinois for about five years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Judson University in Elgin and is currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in library and information science at Dominican University. Gianna HinesGianna Hines joined the college Dec. 5 as financial aid outreach specialist. She previously worked at the Illinois Student Assistance Commission, working working with local high schools and organizations to spread awareness about financial aid and provide presentations on going to college. She is an LLCC alum, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Illinois College and is working on a master’s degree in the college student personnel: higher education leadership program from Western Illinois University. Welcome Alan Pasley

Alan PasleyAlan Pasley joined LLCC Nov. 14 as staff training and development coordinator. He retired from the state of Illinois after 28 years with the Department of Corrections in the area of training, coordinating the training for about five years. Alan earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in law enforcement and justice administration from Western Illinois University. She was a high school teacher for nine years and the coordinator of diversity and inclusion for Sacred Heart Griffin, then a stay-at-home mom and most recently, a breast feeding peer counselor with WIC at the Sangamon County Health Department. Roslyn Simmons-LindsayRoslyn Simmons-Lindsay joined LLCC Nov. 1 as the PATH program director. She previously worked for a nonprofit in the area of family stabilization with a focus on reunification and also for the Illinois State Board of Education. Rosalyn took courses at Richland Community College and transferred to University of Illinois Springfield where she majored in history and minored in African-American studies and earned a master’s degree in human services, social services administration. Tim CunnhinghamTim Cunningham recently began work at LLCC as IT project manager. He comes to us after serving as a stay-at-home dad for his son. Tim was also previously employed by the state of Illinois and HSHS. He took general education classes from LLCC, earned bachelor’s degrees in business administration and computer management information systems from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and also earned a project management certificate.
