KUDOS nominations being accepted
Key or Unique Demonstrations of Outstanding Service award nominations are open! They will be accepted through Monday, July 1. Faculty and staff can nominate a deserving colleague by submitting the KUDOS form (also available by clicking on the KUDOS tab in the upper-right corner of LincIn). Please use a Chrome or Firefox browser when completing this form. The KUDOS awards will be announced Wednesday, July 10.
The KUDOS awards are an informal way to recognize the special contributions made by faculty and staff that go above and beyond and that create the positive environment that is LLCC. Brighten someone’s day. Say, “Thank you! Great job!” with a KUDOS award!

Steve Torricelli named new head baseball coach
Congratulations to Steve Torricelli, who was named Loggers head baseball coach.
Originally from Springfield, Torricelli is a 1986 graduate of Springfield High school. He went on to play at Eastern Illinois University in fall 1986 for Coach Tom McDevitt and pitched for two years. After two years on the roster, he switched gears to join the coaching staff as a student assistant coach for Dan Callahan.
Torricelli has head coaching experience ranging from the high school level to four-year university. In 1999, Coach “Tor” became the head coach of Springfield College in Illinois. In 2003 and 2008, he was selected as Conference Coach of the Year for the Midwest Athletic Conference, and in 2007 and 2008, he was voted Regional Coach of the Year for Region 24. In 2012, SCI was converted into Benedictine University at Springfield as a member of the NAIA in the American Midwest Conference. During his time as a head coach, he had more than 100 players earn academic all-conference and coached more than 50 all-conference players. He was fortunate enough to coach 10 prestigious Academic All-Americans and another 17 Academic All-Americans. He had two players earn All-American status and one selected as an MLB draft pick.

Tiffany Elliott, guest presenter for ICLCA
Tiffany Elliott, academic support programs coordinator, center for academic success, will be presenting a “Best Practices for Embedded Tutoring” webinar for the International College Learning Centers Associations (ICLCA) on Tuesday, July 9, 11 a.m. Participants will learn about best practices for intentional embedded tutoring program design and implementation. Topics covered will include a brief history of embedded tutoring; best practices for program design, implementation, assessment and faculty and tutor training; and tips for serving courses in a variety of modalities. Individuals interested in attending the webinar can find more information via the ICLCA website.

As a reminder, email signatures have been created to provide a professional and branded look for LLCC employee emails. It is recommended that these replace former campaign-related email signatures or email signatures designed by individuals or departments.
Access the LLCC email signatures, which you can customize with your own information: name, preferred pronouns (if desired), title, office, address, office phone number and logo.
Copy and paste this into the “Signature” box in Outlook and customize with your own information. When copying and pasting from the browser version of Word, the image size can vary. Right-click on the image after pasting > Picture > Size tab and make sure the height is set at 0.49″.
