Wellness screenings, second chance!
If you were unable to participate in the recent wellness screening, you still have an opportunity to participate. You can register to do a remote screening conducted at a local LabCorp facility. Follow the instructions in the attached document (link below). The screening is free, as well as a flu shot, for employees who are on a LLCC health insurance plan. Remote screen participants will have to get the flu shot from a healthcare professional or certified provider, such as a pharmacy, and bring the receipt to the Human Resources office for reimbursement. Remote screening participants are also eligible for a $50 Visa gift card! Registration and completion of the screening must occur by Nov. 1, 2013 in order to be eligible for this wellness program. i.e. improv performs this evening at 6
“i.e. improv,” the improvisational performance group at LLCC, will perform this evening, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m. in the lower level of Sangamon Hall South.
Other Monday evening performances are Nov. 4 and 18, and Dec. 2, all at 6 p.m. in Sangamon Hall South. The public is invited, with viewer discretion advised. Tickets are available at the door for $2.
“i.e. (the Latin abbreviation for ‘that is’) improv” is comprised of LLCC students who perform unscripted, uncensored comedy, similar to the style of famous improv groups in Los Angeles and Chicago. As a completely off-the-cuff show, this group takes audience suggestions and turns them into long-form improv. The students involved have all studied improvisation at LLCC.
