Students of the Beardstown ESL class and their families who are enrolled in the Secretary of State Penny Severns Family Literacy program in Beardstown took a field trip to the Illinois State Museum this past Saturday. Students and families enjoyed the museum, especially the children’s activity area.

Monday, April 28, Admissions & Records staff will host a retirement open house from 2-4 p.m. in the Records Office to celebrate Ron Gregoire‘s years of service to the college, in his retirement.
A retirement reception will be held Tuesday, April 29 from 2-3:30 in the R.H. Stephens Room to honor Bob Smith, Information Technology Specialist.
The annual Student Recognition Ceremony will be Tuesday, April 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Union of Menard Hall.
A retirement party for Don Belford, facilities maintenance technician, will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. Wed., April 30 in the grounds metal building.
A blood drive will take place in the Student Union on Wednesday, April 30, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Grade changes for an “Incomplete” assigned during the Fall 2013 semester are due in the Records Office by Friday, May 9. If no grade change is submitted by this deadline, the student’s grade will roll to the grade specified on the original “Incomplete” form or an “F” (if grade area was left blank). LLCC Theatre presents two, one-act, student-directed plays April 25 and 26 at 8 p.m. in the lower level of Sangamon Hall South on the Lincoln Land Community College campus. The plays are Harold Pinter’s “The Dumb Waiter,” directed by A.J. O’Shea, and William Saroyan’s “Hello Out There,” directed by Amy Cantrall, presented on a double bill each evening.
