Truck crane in front of Commons and on east side of Menard Hall this morning
This morning, we will again be using a truck crane in front of the Commons, as well as the east side of Menard Hall. For safety, we will be blocking the 10 minute parking spaces on the east side of Menard Hall until the lift is completed. We anticipate completion by midday. We appreciate your cooperation and patience.

Faculty Development & Recognition Grant Report by recipient Michelle Coakes
This summer, with the assistance of a Faculty Development & Recognition Grant, I traveled to Deer Isle, Maine, to attend a two-week workshop at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts. I have been to Haystack before, working with a variety of potters from around the country. As in the past, this workshop was both informational and inspirational. Read More about Michelle’s experience in her full travel report!
Welcome Lorie McDonald!
A message from the family of Jim Van Kleek
To all LLCC family: I call all of you family because you were all so supportive of Jim in his battle with pancreatic cancer. From Day 1, many of you sent cards, flowers and well wishes to Jim. They brightened his days and we kept every card and message sent. When the cancer came back and he knew he could no longer work, he was devastated. He loved his job and he loved all of you. I know he missed going from office to office just to see how everyone was doing. He is truly missed by our family and I know there’s a little hole out there at Lincoln Land knowing he won’t be walking those halls again.
You all made Jim still feel needed up until the day he died and to Dave Green and Rhonda Phillips: thank you for coming to see Jim and giving him that wonderful “resolution” in his name. And to the rest: Dr. Warren, Eileen T. and on and on (too many to list), thank you and love to you all.
