The article “Boons and Blunders: A Trial-and-Error Guide for Implementing Embedded Tutoring in Asynchronous Online Courses” by Tiffany Elliott, academic support programs coordinator for the LLCC Center for Academic Success; Tim McKenzie, professor, philosophy; and Kat Winchester, peer tutor was accepted for publication in “The Learning Assistance Review.” Their article will appear in Volume 29, Issue 2, forthcoming this January. The Center for Academic Success is especially proud of Kat Winchester as it is quite a rare honor for a college sophomore to be published in an academic journal. If you see her, be sure to offer her congratulations.

Channing Fullaway-Johnson, culinary coordinator, LLCC Community Education, wrote today’s Epicuriosity 101 column, “The perfect sear on scallops.”
