Brent Popejoy has joined LLCC as the new program navigator for the Open Door-Workforce Equity Initiative. A Chicago native, he previously worked at UIS and holds a B.A. in business administration from Lincoln Christian University and M.A. in theology from Cincinnati Christian University. Welcome Brent!

Alex Berry began work as director of LLCC Student Success on Feb. 1. Previously, he worked at Richland Community College in financial aid, student engagement and, most recently, as the director of student development and Title IX coordinator. Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Millikin University, a master’s degree in college student personnel from Western Illinois University and is currently working on a doctorate degree in the department of educational administration and foundations’ leadership equity and inquiry program at Illinois State University.
