LLCC Student Life and the Logger Activities Board have a week of activities planned to help students de-stress. All activities and events will be held in A. Lincoln Commons from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Mon., May 13 – Smash your stress and hot breakfast
Tue., May 14 – Zorb balls, lawn games and a cereal bar.
Wed., May 15 – “Lego” your stress and an ice cream truck.
Thu., May 16 – Just Dance party and grab n’go snacks.
Please join us in letting students know how proud we are of them and all they have accomplished this semester. Their Logger family is here for them. Congratulations!

But please note: if you need the waiver to cover tuition and avoid having to re-register after the tuition due date, the waiver form must be submitted by the tuition due date for that term (also listed below).

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Phi Theta Kappa Parking Spot Drawing. Nearly $540 was raised to support chapter events and student travel to regional and national conferences.
The winner of the parking spot is Dr. Natasha Casey, assistant professor, communication. Natasha will enjoy parking privileges in the designated PTK parking spot outside Menard Hall for the entire 2024-2025 academic year. Congratulations, Natasha!

Thanks to LLCC Police Chief Chris Russell, Sgt. Brian Tweryon and Rachel Duff, campus health and wellness coordinator, for planning the fun event, and to Dr. Chris McDonald, who was the official event photographer.
Starting May 13, contractors will be working on the main campus to remove and replace the dugouts at the softball field. They will have construction activities on the North side of Cass Gym throughout the Summer.

LLCC recognized students with academic leadership and special awards at the Student Recognition Ceremony on Wednesday. Alexa Maher was named the 2024 Oustanding Graduate. The award recognizes a graduate’s excellent grade point average, leadership, motivation, service to the college community, extracurricular activities and ability to overcome obstacles. Maher has served as the president of the Honors Student Club, a leader in Phi Theta Kappa and a member of the Honors Program Council, graduating with an associate in science degree. She plans to study accounting at the University of Illinois Springfield this fall.
