Grade changes due TODAY for Spring and Summer 2013 “Incomplete” grades
Grade changes for an “Incomplete” assigned during the Spring and Summer 2013 semesters are due in the Student Records office TODAY. If no grade change is submitted today, the student’s grade will roll to the grade specified on the original “Incomplete” form or an “F” (if grade area was left blank). Please contact Student Records if you have questions.

The Madrigal Singers were pictured in the Dec. 12 SJ-R, performing at the Old State Capitol. They’ll also perform at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dana Thomas House.
Ron Riggle, head baseball coach and athletic director, and Justin Knoedler, assistant baseball coach, were guests of Sam Madonia on the AM Springfield show on Sports Radio 1450 Dec. 12. They discussed the upcoming youth baseball camp Dec. 27-29. Cost is $120 and registration is available at 6.2426.

The Litchfield Student Club raised $150.00 for Toys for Tots this semester through a bake sale and water sales. Club members presented a check to the Montgomery County Toys for Tots Chairperson, Chris Gutierrez. The money will be used to help the organization provide toys for 400 local families in need this holiday season. Fitness Center Winter Recess Hours
The Fitness Center will be closed Dec. 23 – Jan. 3, reopening Jan. 6 with special hours from 8am – 4pm through Jan. 10.

Shanda Byer, assistant director, LLCC Beardstown, and several students were interviewed by the State Journal-Register Dec. 11 on ESL classes and other services offered to immigrant students.
Bob Howard, director, Truck Driver Training; Julie Rourke, director, Workforce Development; and two students were interviewed by the State Journal-Register Dec. 11 on their participation in the grant-funded program for long-term unemployed persons providing training in the transportation, distribution and logistics industry.

“Madrigals, Motets and Songs of the Season” Dec. 11 and 14
The Madrigal Singers will perform TODAY, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Old State Capitol, downtown Springfield and Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. in the Dana-Thomas House at Fourth and Lawrence streets. The performances feature madrigals, motets and traditional carols.
