IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM PAYROLL

In order to maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, we have determined that it is necessary for us to change our current procedure of issuing payroll direct deposits a day in advance of the actual payroll date.

Beginning with the May 31, 2014 payroll, all direct deposits and payroll checks will have the same issue date. Direct deposits will no longer be credited a day in advance. Per federal bank regulations, banks must make payroll direct deposits available to customers no later than the time that the bank opens for business on the effective date of the deposit.

There is no change to the current procedure for issuing payroll checks. Checks may be picked up in person in the Human Resources office between 9:00am and 3:00pm on the day of payroll. Any payroll checks not picked up by 3:00pm will be mailed.

Please contact Cheryl Sneed at 6-2247 or cheryl.sneed@llcc.edu if you have any questions or concerns regarding this change.
