LLCC Student Success will continue the Early Alert program in the fall semester. As a part of this program, faculty send out kudos or alerts for students who are doing well or may not be doing well. The goals are to work with students who may need additional support and celebrate students who are doing well. Participating faculty will complete three campaign surveys for students enrolled in 16-week classes and one campaign for eight-week classes. During the campaign, faculty can indicate concerns or kudos for each student. The student and success coach will be notified via email. The success coach will follow up with the student, note the outcomes of their contact with students and eventually close the flag or kudo. Faculty will be able to view these notes. This process reinforces faculty messaging and enhances communications among faculty, students and success coaches.
If you are interested in participating in this initiative, please submit the Early Alert Participation Form by today, Sept. 11. Please contact Dr. Amanda Turner at amanda.turner@llcc.edu if you have any questions.
