3D printer demonstrations for middle school students

Leslie Stalter, professor of art, gave a presentation to a visiting Lego League group on the intersections between art and technology last Friday afternoon. Thanks to copious amounts of behind the scenes assistance from Patrick Wheeler, arts and communication Fab Lab technician, middle school students from three different schools got a demonstration on the two different kinds of 3D printers in the Fab Lab and the positives and negatives of using each.
