¡Muchas Gracias!

National Hispanic Heritage Month. Latinos: Driving Prosperity, Power and Progress in America!
The National Hispanic Heritage Month Committee is overwhelmingly grateful to all of the amazing volunteers who helped with our events and activities this year. We had a wonderful time celebrating Hispanic heritage, and we were thrilled to discover more fluent Spanish speakers on LLCC’s faculty and staff.

A special shout out to Esteban Cruz for the palomitas sabor chile y limón (spicy popcorn with lime) and Leslie Stalter for the beautiful display of papel picado (Mexican banners). Also, thank you to Cody Cox and Leslie Stalter for managing the Spanish translations table during the fiesta.

Thanks to LLCC Facility Services and Information Technology’s audio system team for the setup of events and providing for our audio needs. Also, thank you to LLCC Public Relations and Marketing staff for providing the promotional materials including posters, digital sign and social media postings.

We thank our volunteers including Sue Alexander, Kyla Kruse, Mackenzie Bryant, Katrina Quattlander, Amanda Turner, Lisa Clanton, Leanne Roseberry, Karen Sanders, Gailyn Draper, Kim Wilson, April Bergman, Laurie Clemons, Brandon Lewis, Shanda Byer, Brenda Elliott, Josh Collins and Kayla Weitzel. And thank you to anyone we may have missed on the volunteer list.

We invite everyone back next year to celebrate the vibrant heritage and contributions of Hispanics in America!
