Each year, Sept. 15 marks the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Join us for food, music, history and celebration!

La Loteria Mexicana (Mexican Bingo)

Tuesday, Sept. 26, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons

Loteria is the Spanish word for lottery. It is a bingo-style game of chance with colorful cards depicting Mexican history and culture.  Join us for fun, prizes, Abuelita hot cocoa and an opportunity to learn Spanish words and yell “¡Ganador!” in the game of La Loteria!

Closing Fiesta – Día de los Muertos Theme

Friday, Oct. 13, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the A. Lincoln Commons Plaza

Join your fellow loggers as we close out National Hispanic Heritage Month with a Día de los Muertos Theme (Day of the Dead) Fiesta. Sample Latin cuisine, learn the meaning and Spanish pronunciation of famous motivational quotes and cultural proverbs from 21 Hispanic countries. Enjoy entertainment and of course a piñata!
