LLCC was In the (TV) News three times Oct. 16! WICS did a story on the Rochester 6th graders’ visit to LLCC and tour of the Workforce Careers Center. Lynn Whalen, executive director, PRM, was interviewed, along with the Rochester Intermediate School principal and a student. WICS also did a profile of the LLCC Volleyball team and interviewed Coach Jim Dietz and player Samantha Voils.  And, WAND TV was on campus interviewing students about the government shutdown. Featured in the story were students Donald Klump, T.J. Wooford and Chadwick Taylor.

Steve Bryant, workforce specialist, was interviewed for an Oct. 18 article in the Litchfield News Herald about the free weatherization training program being offered at LLCC-Litchfield.

The majority of the students that attended plan to begin college in fall or spring 2014, with several students stating an anticipated start date as 2015, 2016 or 2017.
