Students have an opportunity to win a $500 scholarship by participating in the Paul Simon Essay Contest. Please encourage students to enter by writing a 500-word essay on the topic “How My Community College Changed My Life.” The winner will be given prizes from the LLCC Bookstore, Foundation and Writing Center. They will then be entered into the statewide contest for a chance to win the scholarship. The Writing Center encourages students to schedule appointments for assistance with the essays. Entries should be submitted by 3 p.m. on March 22, 2024, to the Writing Center email: WritingCenter@llcc.edu.
