The 2024 regional Academic Challenge takes place today in the LLCC Student Union. Approximately 198 students from 12 area high schools will compete in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering graphics, English, mathematics and physics. Teams will begin arriving around 8 a.m. and will depart for their home school around 2 p.m. Because of the academic nature of the competition, you may notice a temporary route was created to access the bookstore and Quiznos during this time.
