Spotlight on Student Life: Save the date for an open house

LLCC Student Life promotes the mission of the college by providing quality programs and services that enhance the campus experience through leadership, educational and multicultural programs, and initiatives. Learn more about how they do this by stopping by the office (lower level, Menard Hall) between 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1 for the first departmental spotlight of the year!

Open house attendees will have the opportunity to tour the LLCC food pantry and to hear more about the active student clubs and other events on the calendar. Of course, no Student Life sponsored activity would be complete without snacks and, this time, they’ll be fall-themed!

  • Welcome Week events – This fall it was “Welcome, Welcome, Welcome” with three weeks full of opportunities to gather. Activities ranged from a “Get the Scoop” ice cream social to a Student Worker Job Fair in partnership with Financial Aid.
  • Multicultural Festival – A fun opportunity to celebrate the various cultures and backgrounds within the LLCC and Springfield area communities.
  • World Mental Health Day activities – In partnership with Student Success, Student Life and the Logger Activities Board, we offered resources, giveaways and a healthy breakfast.
