LLCC’s annual Giving Day is Tuesday, Nov. 15. The purpose of this 24-hour day of giving is to impact and transform student lives through giving. We need help spreading the word about Giving Day. Share posts on LinkedIn and the LLCC Alumni and Friends Facebook and Alumni Instagram pages or contact the LLCC Foundation for more information at 217-786-2255.

Everyone is invited to participate in Giving Day including alumni, donors, faculty, staff, students and community friends. Faculty and staff who donate will receive a sticker good for one jeans day of their choice (supervisor permission is required). You can choose how your gift will benefit our students by choosing one of the following:

• The Pay It Forward student emergency assistance fund – provides bus passes, gas cards, rent and utilities payments and more for students who experience an unexpected need
• The general scholarship fund – provides money for tuition and books to students who might otherwise not be able to afford it
• Greatest need – funds are used for the greatest needs including upgrading technology, facilities and equipment. among other things
