New Student Orientation is now optional

New Student Orientation is no longer required but instead encouraged for new students. The college also welcomes transfer, returning students, family members and those supporting new students to attend the orientation. It helps students set the course for their educational journey and is available online or in person.

The mission of New Student Orientation is to provide new students with personal, educational and social support as they transition and navigate the college’s expectations, resources and environment. It provides an opportunity to get to know other students, LLCC staff and the campus. Students learn about the college’s academic support services that are designed to help them succeed in their classes. Orientation also teaches students about the technology they’ll use inside and outside of the classroom to help them reach their goals.
