LLCC Public Relations and Marketing won the top national award for logo wear design at the 2022 National Council on Marketing and Public Relations Paragon Awards Ceremony March 25 in Denver, Colo. The “Driven to Succeed” logo was designed by Greg Walbert, graphic design manager, for T-shirts worn by faculty and staff at the 2021 Commencement Parade and also on other commemorative items.
Entries from community colleges across the country are judged by independent industry experts. Judges’ comments were that they could “only imagine how inspirational it was for graduates to be greeted by a sea of ‘Driven to Succeed’ T-shirts as they traveled through the parade.”
Also at the NCMPR conference, Lynn Whalen, chief communications officer, was honored for eight years of service on NCMPR Board of Directors including two years as director-at-large and one year each as treasurer, secretary, vice president, president, immediate past president and past president.
