Homecoming week will be from Feb. 7-12. Student Life is currently looking for outstanding student leaders to serve on this year’s homecoming court. Faculty, staff and students are eligible to nominate current LLCC students. Nominations are due by midnight Feb. 5. Please submit your nominations through the Homecoming Court Nomination Form.

A homecoming royal must:

• Be nominated by a student or faculty/staff member.
• Be a current student at LLCC enrolled in at least six credit hours for. the spring semester.
• Have a 2.0 or higher cumulative GPA.
• Be in good standing with LLCC.
• Students MUST be present at the homecoming game.
• Qualifying nominees will be selected based on the content of the nomination form and co-curricular activities.

What is a homecoming royal, you ask? Rather than using a king or queen designation that carries a gendered reference, Student Life at LLCC is acknowledging that not all persons who may wish to run for one of these positions fit into the typical gender identity of male or female. By using the phrase “homecoming royal,” Student Life wishes to be gender neutral.
