ImpactLife will be in the Trutter Center today from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Same-day appointments may be available. Stop by the blood drive to inquire about availability to fill one of the 25 open spots.

Typically, ImpactLife strives to collect 3600 donations on a weekly basis. In recent weeks, however, the donation rate has ranged from 2500 to 2800 donations per week. Recent holidays as well as winter weather and the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic have combined to decrease the rate of donation. Blood products are perishable and must be used for transfusion within a short window of time.  A five-day supply is needed on hand to meet anticipated and unanticipated needs.
