COVID-19 has caused many blood drives to have to cancel, however for patients who require blood products for their treatment, the need for donors remains the same. With each and every donation you have the power to save three lives. Will you give?

The Central Illinois Community Blood Center is also actively looking for folks who have tested positive for COVID-19 to give convalescent plasma. Note: No-self schedules are allowed for this type of donation. Interested donors can go to bloodcenter.org/cp to view eligibility criteria and get started with the approval process. You’ll need to click the red Self-Referral button. Convalescent plasma donors must be pre-approved and scheduled by the blood center. As a “thank-you” all convalescent plasma donors will receive a $35 e-gift card (Potential convalescent plasma donors must meet criteria to be eligible for this e-gift card).
