Spring semester Transfer Tuesdays

The LLCC Office of Student Success will be hosting virtual sessions, “Transfer Tuesdays,” for current students looking to transfer after graduation to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor’s degree. They can meet with representatives from four-year institutions and gather information to help them choose a school. Transfer Tuesdays will be hosted by an LLCC staff member on Tuesday afternoons from Jan. 26-May 4, 1-2:30 p.m. on Zoom. At each session, one or more four-year institutions will be represented. There will be general announcements at the start of each session and virtual break-out rooms to meet with college representatives, who will be able to show videos/pictures, share documents and talk with students. Participating students will be able to go to as many of the college sessions that they choose.

Please encourage your students to attend these Transfer Tuesdays sessions. For more information, please direct students to contact their student success coach.

Below is the Transfer Tuesday schedule for the spring semester:

  • Jan. 26 – Missouri Science & Technology, Southern Illinois University – Carbondale (SIU-C)
  • Feb. 2 – University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire
  • Feb. 9 – Western Illinois University (WIU), Webster University, Eureka College
  • Feb. 16 – Columbia College – Chicago, North Central College, Illinois State University (ISU)
  • Feb. 23 – Chicago State University, University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Western Illinois University (WIU)
  • March 2 – Eureka College, Grand Canyon University, Central Methodist University (CMU)
  • March 16 – Southern Illinois University – Carbondale (SIU-C), Eastern Illinois University (EIU), University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL), Bradley University
  • March 23 – Columbia College – Chicago, University of Illinois – Springfield (UIS), Bethel University
  • April 6 – Webster University, University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Quincy University
  • April 13 – North Central College, University of Illinois – Springfield (UIS), Grand Canyon University, Bradley University
  • April 20 – University of Missouri – St. Louis (UMSL)

Also, during the last week of March and the first week of April, virtual transfer fairs will be held on Wednesdays:

  • March 31 – Private Illinois Colleges and Universities (PICU) Transfer Fair
  • April 7 – State Universities Transfer Day (SUTD) Transfer Fair
