LLCC’s first ever Giving Day will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 25. The purpose of this 24-hour day of giving is to advance the mission of the college while raising essential funds for the emergency needs of our students.

Students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community are invited to participate in Giving Day. Contributions to the Pay It Forward fund support our students. Through this fund we were able to assist the following:

• The father raising seven children who lost his job just before Christmas.
• A nursing student who was taking cold showers because she had no gas in her home.
• A mother of four who became homeless after being evicted.

Will you help? Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help replenish the Pay It Forward fund.
