LEAGUE grant application deadline is approaching

Sara Hadlock

Thanks to donations from faculty and staff to the LEAGUE Campaign, students like Sara Hadlock at LLCC in Jacksonville, are able to use a laptop equipped with virtual interpreting services and closed captioning.

Applications for LEAGUE grants are due in the LLCC Foundation Friday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m. Grant guidelines, the application and budget worksheet are available by contacting the Foundation at 786-2785 or by email at llccfoundation@llcc.edu.  Approximately $10,000 will be awarded at the LEAGUE kickoff luncheon on Tuesday, March 24.

Faculty and staff make these grants possible through their generous giving to the annual faculty and staff campaign each spring. Last year, Accessibility Services received funding to provide LLCC students in Jacksonville with a laptop equipped with virtual interpreting services and closed captioning. Thank you, faculty and staff, for making this happen!

If you have any questions, please contact the LLCC Foundation at 786-2785. Again, the application deadline is Jan. 31 at 5 p.m.
