Dr. Carmen Allen, professor of computer science, recently attended the National Science Foundation/Advanced Technology Education (NSF/ATE) Conference in Washington, D.C. She shared information in the grant showcase on LLCC’s competency-based education (CBE) cybersecurity grant and program. The first in a series of CBE cybersecurity courses is being offered at the college this fall, and subsequent courses are planned for CBE as well.
