When you review your Leave Time Report in Etrieve, you will now see in the comment section the word PROCESSED along with the date the Certificate of Absence (CoA) was processed and its unique record ID.
This change has occurred thanks to the hard work of the IT development staff. They built an automated process in Colleague that allows us to review CoAs and post them to employee’s records in batches. Employee Leave Time Balances will be more timely since there is less manual work required in order to process CoAs. Supervisors should note that they are still expected to review CoAs for accuracy (in dates, leave types and hours) and verify that leave time balances can cover the absence.
