The annual open enrollment process for all benefit options begins on Monday, May 6 and ends Thursday, June 6. Please thoroughly review the memo in yesterday’s email from HR. It provides an overview of information about the health and dental insurance coverage for the plan year beginning July 1, 2019, including premium information. Open enrollment will offer the opportunity to make changes to other benefit options as well, including, Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance, Long-Term Disability Insurance, Cancer and Critical Illness Benefit and Accident Benefit.
Change to open enrollment process
The open enrollment process will be conducted entirely online. On Monday, May 6, you will receive an email prompting you to complete tasks related to open enrollment. The email will contain a link to access your open enrollment tasks. You will use your LLCC login credentials to access the system. You will be immediately taken to the My Tasks page, which will list all of the items you must complete. Please view each item and complete according to the instructions by no later than Thursday, June 6, 2019. To aid you in completing this process, a benefit statement will be mailed to your home this week, which will list what your current coverage is for all options.
Introducing DirectPath
Effective immediately, employees will have access to a health care advocacy and consumerism tool, DirectPath. You will have access to advocates who can assist you with resolving claims and billing issues, finding a doctor or hospital, assisting with prior authorizations and providing cost and quality comparisons for certain procedures and tests.
