The LLCC Honors Program is collecting Halloween costumes on campus and at several area locations, to be distributed to families at a “BOOtique” Oct. 20.
The public is invited to donate all sizes of costumes, both complete and partial, along with masks, props and accessories, by Oct. 16. Drop boxes are located at:
- Springfield – LLCC Student Life Office, Menard Hall, 5250 Shepherd Rd.; Hoogland Center for the Arts, 420 S. 6th St.
- Auburn – Auburn Public Library, 338 W. Jefferson St.
- Chatham – Chatham Public Library, 600 E. Spruce St.; Chatham Police Department, 117 E. Mulberry St.; Fulgenzi’s Trattoria and Catering, 214 W. Chestnut St.
- Divernon – Divernon Public Library, 221 S. 2nd St.
- Nokomis – Nokomis High School, 511 Oberle St.; Ugly Mugs, 125 W. State St.
- Pawnee – Pawnee Public Library, 613 Douglas St.
The “BOOtique” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in A. Lincoln Commons on the LLCC campus. Families are invited to pick out free costumes for their children during the event .
