Today is Take a Stand Tuesday. It is an opportunity for your office or you as an individual to stand with the LLCC community in our efforts to increase awareness of sexual assault while informing our community about everyday actions that we can take to prevent sexual violence and support survivors. Symbolic of the LLCC community’s refusal to be passive bystanders of sexual assault, at least one person will be “taking a stand” in A. Lincoln Commons from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. You are invited to choose an available half-hour time frame that works for you or your group and sign up using this link.

Tomorrow, April 25, the LLCC Feminist Activist Coalition and SAVE Taskforce will be hosting Denim Day. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate by wearing denim tomorrow and turning in a minimum $5 donation to LLCC Student Life. All proceeds will benefit the Prairie Center Against Sexual Assault.
